Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

After capitalizing on the incontrovertible truth that "young people love free stuff," Hearst's free, millennial-targeting magazine TrendingNY will increase its frequency to nine issues in 2015, WWD reports. From April to December, a new issue will be released on the first week of each month in select Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens neighborhoods.

Next year, they'll also be doubling circulation from 50,000 copies per issue to 100,000, and covers will be made using heavier, glossier paper. Print: not dead yet, just so long as it's free.
