Alexander Wang's Sample Sale, Day Three: No Line, Lots of Bags

We stopped by the Alexander Wang sample sale once more this morning to scope out what's left since yesterday's spot check. There was no line in this morning, and it was eerily quiet inside except for a few ladies circling the handbags. Still no markdowns.

The handbag selection has definitely dwindled compared to day one but there are a lot of Roccos and Rockies to be had. We did see a new stack of khaki Kirsten multi-strap suede totes for $350 (they retail for $945, but are sold out online) on the shelves. Also, in the small leather goods, a couple of not-so-small black leather laptop cases ($75) have been added to the pile.

In the women's section, there are still lots of cardigans, sweaters, and leather mini skirts, but the rest of the selection is pretty picked over. The 'Parental Advisory' sweatshirts are definitely all gone now.

The six bins containing T by Alexander Wang tees, tops, and shorts have very limited sizes. We also went through the bins with a variety of bras ($30), and most were in size extra small.

The clearance section has been depleted to one bin with red and blue shorts and pants, and there are no more perforated leather dresses.

Over in the men's area, there are just a few racks lining the walls, as well as three plastic bins containing some very soft tees and long-sleeve shirts.

If you're still on the hunt for handbags (the coral red and tan Rocco bags aren't too shabby), then make sure to stop by during your lunch break today. By the looks of it, there won't be too long of a wait, if any at all.
