Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Online shopping: Kind of the greatest, except when you live in a New York City walk-up and fear that your packages will get stolen by some curmudgeon-y neighbor. But in the same way you get your dinner and your dry cleaning delivered when you want, Parcel will deliver your online orders when you want, too (consider it your Cyber Monday savior).

Launched last year, Parcel gives its registered users a unique shipping address to enter when shopping online that'll send everything to its local headquarters. That user will receive a text when their package is delivered, and can schedule a drop-off time to their home between 7pm and 11pm, Sundays through Fridays. Each delivery is costs $5, regardless of how many online orders are delivered at once.

Parcel is currently available throughout Manhattan and, as of last month, select Brooklyn neighborhoods. Want to give it a test run? Use the code RACKED23 to get your first delivery (also known as all the shopping you're doing right now) for free.
