Sweats to Suits At the Todd Snyder Sample Sale

We popped in for a preview of the second ever Todd Snyder sample sale and the good news is they'll be restocking, so you might want to plan multiple trips. The goods are up to 80% off with most of the prices ranging from $19—$325. There are a few items that are priced as marked but those are mostly in the leather section. All sizes are represented, from extra small to extra extra large. While a lot of this stuff is geared towards the guys, we did see ladies scooping up the smaller sweats for themselves.

If you're looking for outerwear you'll find most of the leathers up front on the right, with more picks in the back left corner. We spied a super warm quilted parka with fur trim for $799, Bond-worthy black leather pea coats with sherpa linings for $599, and burgundy suede baseball jackets for $299. Most of the other leather styles are $199, including distressed car coats, motorcycle jackets and trucker styes. In the back section the long outerwear also goes for $199, and you can score wool hooded parkas, double-breasted overcoats and plaid rain jackets. The shorter outerwear is only $99, like navy baseball jackets, wool plaid barracudas, and quilted bomber styles.

The shirting area was made up of half Todd Snyder label pieces and half Todd Snyder + Champion styles (the designer teamed up with the sweats label for a long running collaboration collection). Tees are going for $19-$25, with polos and short sleeve button-ups for $35. Those super soft Champion sweatshirts are only $39, while long-sleeve button-ups and oxfords are $49, and Southwick for Todd Snyder dress shirts are $75. Sweaters, including crew necks and cardigans, can be had for $69.

Bottoms-wise, casual pants include Champion sweat shorts for $25, and sweat pants for $35. Todd Snyder pants are $85 with the Southwick dress pants going for $115.

If you're in the market for a suit, there are two ways to go about this. There are suit sets (pants hanging with the matching jacket) for $325. If you can't find your size in that section you can pick a a pair of dress pants for $115 and finding the matching jacket for $275. Sizes range from 36-44 in jackets and 23-28 in dress pants. They even have tuxedo options.

There are no fitting rooms, but there are four big mirrors throughout the space. The staff was cool with try-ons, just dress appropriately. They will be restocking throughout the sale, except for outerwear. Cash and credit are accepted and all sales are final. Check out the dealfeed below for more info.
