Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

A year and a half after Saint Laurent debuted a Soho store reflecting the brand's direction under Hedi Slimane, the flagship on 57th Street is following suit. The Shophound noticed a construction facade on the Fifth Avenue-adjacent shop, and the new setup will probably look exactly like every other remodeled location.

Uptowners who don't want to head to Greene Street for a dedicated Saint Laurent experience can head to 3 West 57th Street, just past Bergdorf Goodman, where the brand will hold court until renovations are complete.
