Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
During the weekend of November 22, Industry City will be simultaneously hosting two events that celebrate American-made goods.
American Field—a pop-up celebration of American artists and craftsmen—is a who's-who of American makers. Come peruse the collections of more than 80 vendors, such as American Trench and Shinola.
Steps away is the Made in Brooklyn Holiday Market, curated by WantedDesign and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. The marketplace will feature home furnishings, lighting, housewares, accessories, artisanal foods, and gifts—all made in the borough.
Keeping patriotic? Check out both events by visiting 274 36th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, in Brooklyn.
