Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The biannual Shoshanna sample sale is back at the designer's 39th Street showroom today, and last night we previewed their offerings at a friends and family event. The majority of the racks are taken up by dresses ($75-$125 for stock, $50 for samples), with a few separates here and there (like tank tops for $75, and white sleeveless shirts with a lace overlay for $85), as well as a smattering of women's swimwear ($20 for one pieces and sets, $5 for separates) in boxes on the ground and two racks of plastic-covered girls' swimsuits ($5-$10).

Dress options span all seasons, and while the central racks are dedicated to sample sizes (between a two and a four, here), the ones around the perimeter hold sizes 0-12. There are black sparkly numbers for holiday cocktail parties and more casual three-quarter-length sleeve styles for winter workwear, but scattered about there are also brightly colored sleeveless cocktail options that will have to hang in the closet till next summer's wedding season. The sale continues through tomorrow. For more info, check out the dealfeed below.—Hana Alberts
