There's Nothing Over $75 at the United Nude Sample Sale

We learned two very important things at last night's United Nude sample sale preview. One: there are 3,500 pairs of shoes up for grabs. And two: nothing is over $75. The majority of the sale is women's footwear, but there are still great finds in the men's section, as well as accessories—all at up to 85% off.

When you walk into the front room, you'll see all the women's sample shoes ($35). Ladies' sample sizes run from 38-41 and there are plenty of styles available, including sherpa-lined booties, pink metallic snakeskin heels and graphic high tops. Accessories can also be found here—look out for belts ($30), zip wallets ($55-$65), leather and fur clutches ($50-$75), and tote bags ($50-$75). Also of note: awesome umbrellas that look like samurai swords for $20.

In the main room, you'll find a huge selection of neatly-arranged women's shoes in sizes 35-42. $25 will get you strappy Tangle Mids, leather Cup Pure Highs, neon Lo Res Lows and tall Falcon Boots. For $35 we saw colorful Apollo Highs, classic Mosaic Pumps and suede Lisa Highs. In the $45 range, there are embroidered Ray Booties, studded Frames Sandals, elastic Helix Highs, and cutout Cup Pumps. Structural Lo Res Pumps and zip-up Battery Booties are going for $50 with embossed Base Pumps and pony hair Eamz Pumps at $55. Metal-accented Glare Booties and fur-trimmed Black Shadow Booties are among the most expensive items, at $75.

Guys will find styles in sizes 40-46. There are suede Desert Boots for $45, Hollow Boots for $50, and Flex Derbys and striped Runners for $55. If slip-ons are more your thing, we also spotted black striped Bajas, red Cools and an assortment of colorful Folds for $25. Size 43's, be sure to check out the front room, which has samples for $35—including current season styles.

United Nude sales associates told us that all shoes are out, and they will not be restocking. There are two large mirrors and some benches where you can sit and try shoes on—an important step, considering that all sales are final. Cash and credit are both accepted.
