Amidst Vogue's long-anticipated, exceedingly well-documented move from their Times Square offices to One World Trade Center, International Editor at Large Hamish Bowles managed to sneak a photo of Anna Wintour's 26th floor office, and it is...intimidating.
No, we're not referring to that superhero window washer who looks as if he's here to personally accompany Ms. Wintour to her next appointment via jetpack. It's the fact that visitors to her office must undertake the pageantry of first walking across that long carpet in full view, only to be welcomed by the sort of punishingly hard chair that makes one wish they were standing. This is how Anna Wintour greets her guests. Anybody can wear Prada, but only the devil has metal seats.
