Looks like Van Cleef & Arpels is winning the holiday window race! The jeweler is one of the first Fifth Avenue shops to roll out its annual wintry display, although Van Cleef may be slightly ahead of the game because it has another occasion to commemorate—it's 75th birthday.
Created by set designer Douglas Little in honor of the holiday season and the brand's anniversary, the dreamy windowscapes tell the story of Peau D'Ane, a French fairytale about a princess who flees her kingdom wearing a magic donkey skin that excretes jewels (don't worry about it) to avoid marrying her father. Let giant emeralds, fluffy bunnies, and cakes distract you from the dark subject matter, this way!
