Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
We've got two Racked Fit Club sessions this month, and the first is at Flow Cycle in the Financial District. This indoor cycling studio is probably unlike any you've been to before, as Flow Cycle features bikes that tilt from side to side as you pedal, adding a balancing challenge to work your core. Instructor Aisha Prielozny (also known as AC) will be leading the class through a video-simulated ride with series of uphills and sprints.
The class is tomorrow, Tuesday, October 7th, at 7pm. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to set up your bike, and be sure to bring your sneakers (or SPD clip-in shoes). As the studio is in an office building, you'll need to provide identification to the front desk before heading up to the ninth floor. There's space to change and store your belongings, but no showers. And, bonus: Riders will be provided with cold towels to refresh after the workout.
