The Sandro sample sale begins today at 260 Sample Sale's new Soho location at 151 Wooster Street. We checked out the preview last night, and we almost forgot that we were at a sample sale—the space feels like any other Soho boutique—but once we saw the price list, it was obvious we were shopping a sale.
The fairly new French brand is favored by many for their outerwear and awesome knits, which are both prominent here. There are tons of chunky sweaters, cardigans, warm winter coats, and leather pieces to pick up. Prices are set by category, and the discount starts from about 60% off and goes upwards.
Women should head towards the back to find racks filled with blazers for $200 and blouses for $110. There's a rack with sweatshirts for $75 near another with $50 tees. Next to that is where you'll find the leather jackets and shearlings. Leather jackets are $300 and the shearlings are $500—and note that the supply of these was diminishing rather quickly.
Behind the leather jackets are leather pants for $300 and shorts and skirts for $200. Beyond that is where to find four racks filled with cocktail dresses and casual dresses for work or the weekend. Leather dresses are $200, knit dresses are $110, and anything else is $150. If you're in the market for a new holiday dress, definitely stop by this sale—there are so many options, including plenty in basic black.
Right by the fitting room are all the winter coats and jackets. Find military-style coats for $300, trenches for $200, and denim jackets for $110. Then head on to browse the sweaters and cardigans. Sweaters are $110—the selection is huge—and cardigans are $150. There's also a selection of denim here for $75.
There's a table in the back where you'll find shoes for $200. The selection is great, but there isn't a ton of stock—if you're coming for footwear, shop this area first. Other accessories include hats for $30. leather gloves and scarves for $50, and cute leather bags for $110.
The men's clothing is arguably better than the women's. For a woman that prefers to wear her sweaters slouchy, have a look at what the guy's selection has to offer. We found knits in vibrant blues and nordic prints for $110, and there are also some classic cardigans for$150.
The men's coats and jackets are also really awesome, and includes killer parkas for $300. There's a rack filled with blazers for $275 and trousers for $110, and another for denim and cords that go for $95.
The men's shoe selection is also way cooler, but the supply here is super limited—all pairs are $200. Belts for $50 and duffles for $110 are on the same table.
There's a fitting room for the ladies, but not the dudes. Also, overall the sizes were on the larger side, but if you dig you'll find smaller sizes. And while there is additional stock to put out, it's really limited. The sale runs through Sunday—see the Dealfeed below for more information.
