Before you pick up a party look at American Two Shot, you should ask yourself, "How many strangers do I want to approach me?" If the answer is "all of them, probably," then, proceed. The Grand Street boutique-slash-coffee-shop specializes in pieces that invite questions—"Where did you get that?" "Who makes that?" "Can I…try that on?"—like Vivetta dickies embroidered with illustrations from botany textbooks, or Saunders cardigans embellished with beaded cigarettes and sequined smoke plumes.
