Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Back in the day, we used to work for our Halloween candy by donning our cutest costumes and traipsing the streets, begging the neighbors for fun-sized treats. Now, we don our cutest costumes, hit up the bar, and binge on an entire bag of Reese's we picked up at Duane Reade. Not the friendliest situation for your waistline.

But that doesn't mean you can't get into the seasonal spirit—ahead, check out eleven New York City boutique fitness studios who are hosting themed classes this week, from spooky tunes at Physique 57 to costumes at Vixen Workout and conquering your fears at Lyons Den. And don't think they've left out the treats (see: Flow Cycle, Swerve Fitness).
