Update: A rep from Billy Reid tells us the store will in fact open this Friday, November 14th.
Billy Reid is opening a second, extra-fancy NYC outpost to the West Village, reports WWD. The 1,000-square-foot store will debut at 94 Charles Street on November 5th, and will feature both men's and women's apparel, as well as the upcoming MSL denim collection.
"Our second New York City store will house what is essentially a highly curated assortment of our collections," Reid told the publication (their other store is on Bond Street). "It will be a showcase for our most interesting pieces, many of which have traditionally only been used for runway or editorial purposes."
Inside, there'll be an appropriate mix of rugged-chic (white oak floors) and straight-up fancy ("handmade bronze fixtures," "custom furniture milled and finished in Reid's hometown of Florence, Ala.")
