Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
It's the end of an era—specifically for Grey Era, a three-year-old East Village vintage boutique. "The building got sold and I got priced out—familiar story around here," explained owner Sierra Fromberg, whom we chatted with a while back about vintage buying tips. Unless all clothing and home goods are sold beforehand, Grey Era will open its doors for the last time on November 16th, so make sure you say your farewells early. [EV Grieve, Previously]
