Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Opening Ceremony is throwing it back to the DJ scene of the 90s, by becoming the exclusive sellers of musician ZHU's limited-edition 7" vinyl. Each record holds a ticket inside the sleeve to one of his top-secret New York performances next month, with the time and location only revealed on the stub. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the limit is two per person.
A mysterious artist, ZHU released "Moves Like Ms. Jackson" earlier this year, but people know next to nothing about the artist. Much like Daft Punk, ZHU prefers to keep his identity a mystery. You can pick up the vinyl and tickets combination starting today at 5:30, exclusively at the Opening Ceremony flagship store location, 35 Howard Street.
