Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Mixing up your Madewell Transport tote with your roommate's Madewell Transport tote on the set of hooks affixed to the back of your front door will now be a thing of the past. The J. Crew sister brand is offering free monogramming at its New York City locations throughout the month—so let's just hope you guys don't have the same initials.

The monogramming machine (fancy, huh?) will be parked at the Soho between 12pm and 3pm on Saturday, October 18th, and at the Madison Avenue store the following Saturday during the same time.

It'll make an extended stay in Williamsburg to celebrate the brand's newest location—stop by at anytime during business hours between Tuesday, October 28th and October 31st to stamp your initials on as many leather goods as you can.
