Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

An e-commerce shop that specializes in the manly things you need but also don't need (like mustachioed whiskey stones and bourbon-flavored toothpicks) is opening their second NYC shop, Bedford + Bowery reports. The Lodge, whose target customer can generally be summed up as Bros Who Like Nice Stuff, is slated to open October 15th at 220 East 10th Street in the East Village (their other shop is in Greenpoint).

Befitting an enterprise that begins its 'About Us' page with the sentence "We're folks who love America," The Lodge's products come from 50 domestic brands, including some local ones like beard-whisperers Blind Barber, Greenpoint wallet makers Maxx & Unicorn, and Filson, which opened a similarly fancy-man shop in Noho earlier this year.

Why is the company called The Lodge, you ask? Let that same 'About Us' page mansplain for you: "Whenever you're at a lodge, you're having a great time. It's a welcoming place. You're enjoying the apres-ski and hot tub. ... And we're based in an 1840-built Lodge in Pennsylvania. Yeah, it's cool."

No word on what the interior of the store will look like just yet, but if we had to guess, we'd say—uh, some sort of lodge?
