There are a few things New Yorkers can count on every fall: the leaves will turn, pumpkin spice lattes will proliferate, Ricky's stores will fill with sexy Disney princess costumes, and someone—a friend, a coworker, a Tinder match—will suggest apple-picking as a weekend activity. That's why we tapped a few of our favorite boutiques—O.N.A., Jill Lindsey, and Thistle and Clover—to put together three frolicking-through-the-orchards looks. So even if you regret taking home six pounds of apples, at least you won't regret your outfit.

Where: Jill Lindsey
What: Barque chambray shirt, $145; Diarte 'Coraline' cardigan, $350; D'emploi tote, $120; Filili by Luiny rings, $98 each; Izaskun Zabala necklace, $105; Komono sunglasses, $60
Why: "I selected the chambray shirt because it is double-faced and light weight—great for layering with the 'Coraline' cardigan," Jill said of the look she chose. "I love the fall colors of the sweater because they reflect the changing colors of the leaves. The tote is a perfect natural tone and pops against the darker shades."

Where: O.N.A.
What: Gat Rimon 'Zeffy' pant, $163; Gat Rimon 'Reeve' sweater, $231; Miista 'Zoe' shoes, By Okru clay necklace, Dusen Dusen square sunglasses (call 718-783-0630)
Why: "This look is all about being practical and comfortable," owner Magdalena Jaworska says of her fancy-lounge-pants-and-sweater combo. "The 'Zeffy' pant is breezy and paired with a cozy crew sweater for the cooler autumn days."

Where: Thistle and Clover
What: Ace & Jig 'Lake Heritage' dress, $228; Zabala silver chevron necklace, $78; Phyllis & Rosie triangle rings in rose and yellow gold, $65; Toni weekender bag, $364; Phyllis & Rosie cuff bracelets in silver, yellow, and rose gold $70; Chan Luu scarf in cloud gray $180
Why: "Ace & Jig's comfy flannel Lake Heritage Dress has pockets big enough for those perfectly ripe apples you may not want to share, Chan Luu's luxe silk & cashmere guards you against Autumns chilly breezes, and Toni's cheerful Weekender will hold all of your day's necessities," owner Camilla Gale said of the outfit she put together. "And by necessities, I mean farm fresh cheese & teeny tiny gourds."
