Marc Jacobs is opening a special Fashion Week pop-up shop in Soho on February 7th, but you won't need any cash to buy anything. According to the release, at the Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop, "no dollars will change hands. Transactions will be based solely on a customer's use of Twitter, Instagram and Facebook." You can actually shop it totally broke, so long as you're rich in social media accounts.
Alongside MJ accessories, fashion items, and fragrance samples, the shop will also include
Daisy nail art, food and drinks, a DJ, and contests, where accessories will be given out throughout the day—as an example, the day's best Instagram photo could win something as sweet as a handbag (from the main line). Stay tuned for more hints a little closer to the date.
Update: The nail art bar is no longer on the menu.
Update #2: We're now told you can only "buy" fragrance samples. If you want a bag, or anything better than a fragrance sample, you're going to have to win it.
