Watch Designers Do Their Thing—Design—at Launch NYC

As if New York isn't pop up central already, Launch NYC has landed in Chelsea today. It's a collaborative effort between Manufacture New York, a "fashion hybrid incubator" (read: they put local fashion designers under a light like chicken eggs until they hatch), and Lionesque a "pop-up architect" firm (read: they make pop-up shops) to combine runway with retail during Fashion Week.

Expect to find watches from House of Horology, dresses from Carrie Hammer, jewelry from Heidi Gardner, and more to be presenting their latest collections. Visitors can also get a look into the creative process—expect to find "designers creating live in the windows, behind sewing machines and sketch boards," said Lionesque founder Melissa Gonzalez. The pop up will be open through February 12.
