It looks like the fitness world, along with 20-somethings priced out of Manhattan and Brooklyn, is discovering Queens. Earlier this month, Astoria got its first dedicated indoor cycling studio with Simply Cycle, a studio that sticks to its name—so don't expect to find sophisticated dance or weight options here.

The studio was opened by Lisa Eskanazi, who also owns Simply Fit Astoria a few blocks down the street that offers a lot of Zumba classes. Here, classes are $22 when purchased individually, and there's currently four classes offered per weekday, and three on the weekends.
