The Most Luscious Lipstick You'll Ever Slather On

Bright lipstick used to be the one makeup trend that intimidated me, but as I've grown older (and wiser, obvi) the brighter the lip, the happier I am. The one issue I still have with lipstick is how heavy it feels on your lips, especially in Miami's smoldering weather. I solved this pesky little issue when I found Bite Beauty in my local Sephora, and haven't looked at another brand of lipstick since.

My favorite color of the moment is Tannin. It's a deep poppy red with a matte effect that seems to flatter me and all my friends who have borrowed it, which automatically makes it a miracle shade. It also has antioxidants in it with anti-aging benefits, and is made with lip-nurturing food-grade ingredients that are apparently healthy enough to eat (please don't). It doesn't dry out your lips like other highly pigmented brands do, but still adds enough color to make you feel like the most glamorous girl in the room. And who doesn't love that?
