Snow has returned to the city with a vengeance. A tipster sent in this photo of the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue last night, showing a pane of the recently redesigned cube completely cracked.

We did some further digging (no snow pun intended), and found that an Apple employee confirmed the damage to Apple Insider, which was potentially caused by a snowblower. They said the store will continue to operate 24/7 as usual.

This isn't the first time the store has incurred weather-related damage. In May, a massive downpour caused a flash flood in the basement-level store. That time, they remained open as well.
