Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

After two exciting championship games this weekend, the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks are set to square off in the Super Bowl XLVIII on February 2 (insert joke about weed legalization in those states here). But even you don't particularly care about the game, football will be all around the host city of New York. And luckily, a lot of it has to do with shopping.

After the jump, check out a roundup of fashion-related events happening around the city leading up to the big game. So far, that includes pop-up shops and some pretty killer window displays. You'll definitely want to check these out with your boyfriend, who's still nursing his wounds over some pretty lame seasons for both New York teams.

The Starter Clubhouse

You probably recognize their swishy "S" and star logo from the side of your high school boyfriend's Yankee cap. They've just opened their first ever brick-and-mortar retail store in the form of a three-week pop up at the Paramount Hotel this past weekend.

It's not just football here—find classic satin jackets from a bunch professional basketball and baseball teams as well. You can also find their limited-edition Super Bowl XLVIII jacket on display here, along with streetwear designer collaborations under the Starter Black Label.

The clubhouse is open every day from 10am through 8pm until January 29th, and then extends their hours to 11pm through February 9. For more information on what's on sale, DJ sets, celebrity appearances, and more, check out Starter's website.

Junk Food Clothing

No, it's not football jerseys made of buffalo wings. Your favorite brand from dELiA*s is back with super-comfy NFL apparel all over the city. First, stop by Bloomingdale's to check out their interactive touch screen window, where you can "choose" the winning team by selecting your favorite T-shirt. And there's also some pretty cool helmets, but more on that later.

Next, head downtown to Macy's tomorrow, where Junk Food will be unveiling an in-store pop-up shop complete with women's looks inspired from their NFL New York Fashion Week show last fall. They'll also be selling their other NFL-themed apparel for both men and women.

The Ugg Warming Station

There's been a lot of concern that this is the first Super Bowl in a cold climate that's being played in an outdoor stadium. And today's weather is no help in alleviating that concern. But Ugg saw this coming.

On January 31 from 8am to 5pm and February 1 from 9am to 6pm, their first-ever mobile pop-up shop in front of Penn Station will be the cold-weather accessories seen above for $75, along with complimentary hot chocolate.

CFDA-Designed Helmets at Bloomingdale's

And now, the big kahuna. Last Wednesday, Bloomingdale's unveiled new windows featuring 48 football helmets designed by CFDA members, including Diane Von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Cynthia Rowley, Danielle Snyder and Jodie Snyder for Dannijo, Kenneth Cole, and Stacey Bendet for Alice + Olivia. Check out some more helmets below, but you should really go see these in person.

And if you have some extra cash to spare, one of these could be yours. Place your bid here for the NFL Auction, where all proceeds will benefit the NFL Foundation.
