In case one New Year's a year isn't enough for you, Bloomingdale's announced their plans this morning to celebrate the Chinese New Year in select locations, including the 59th Street flagship and the Soho store. To celebrate the year of the horse starting on January 10th, shoppers can find a limited edition "Little Horse Bag," pictured here, as well as a curated pop-up shop filled with items that celebrate Chinese culture, including exclusives from Longchamp and Carmen Marc Valvo.
There's also a chance to win bMoney cards, aka a store gift card. Beginning on January 30th, customers can participate in the Chinese tradition of receiving red envelopes, some of which are filled with cards in the amount of $8, $88, or $888 (a lucky number in the culture). Shoppers can also snag savings at certain beauty counters and complimentary Forty Carrots yogurt and Magnolia Bakery mini cupcakes. No word yet on what's in store for any other new year's celebrations, but here's hoping for a Rosh Hashanha/Yom Kippur sale.
