Welcome to Backstage Beauty, a new feature in which New York City's top performers show us how they apply makeup before they take the stage.

As part of a team, Brooklynette Jordan Rafko needs to consider the bigger picture when she sits down to do her makeup before a Brooklyn Nets game. The girls are known for their smoky eye, which Rafko executes with aplomb, no doubt helped by the fact that she's a licensed cosmetologist. In the video above, Jordan walks us through the steps she takes to do her makeup for a performance, plus lets us in on the products she uses to get the job done.
