Escape the Season With Electric Nest's Colorful Mix

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Electric Feathers designer Leana Zuniga recently opened Electric Nest in South Williamsburg. As the name suggests, the store carries the Electric Feathers line, but purposely doesn't end there. The goal was to make the store's mix "kinetic and fluctuating, [with] things for the home, books, and objects... Not limited to just women looking for clothing."

That mix includes a lightweight cashmere scarf with an image of Joy Division silkscreen on by Salvor Projects, Dieppa Restepo shoes, AANDD leather bags, and vintage clothing, accessories, and home objects from the likes of Hermes, Yves Saint Laurent, and Pierre Cardin. Candles, bath salts, and a brass iPhone cage necklace by Anndra Neen can also be found—click through for a look around.
