Williamsburg's Wythe Hotel has launched their version of a hip hotel retail, following in the footsteps of The Ace Hotel's Project No. 8 and Opening Ceremony outposts, The NoMad Hotel's Maison Kitsune annex, Free & the Brave at the Paramount Hotel, 25 Park at The Mark Hotel, and more. As is the trend, this is no palty gift shop—it's a full-fledged "rotating retail outpost." First to cycle in is designer Caron Callahan, whose four month stay began September 2nd.
Caron's resume includes stints at Barney's, Derek Lam, and Steven Alan. She launched her own women's clothing line in 2010, and is carried at Bird and Creatures of Comfort. Within her space at the Wythe Hotel, you'll find some new, specially made pieces from her collection, as well as a wide assortment of accessories, gifts, books, beauty, and more, from lines including Jeremy Laing, Assembly NY, Winifred Grace, Ursa Major, and vintage A.P.C.
