Madison Avenue Spy has snapped a picture of the Fendi signage now up on Madison Avenue between East 53rd and 54th Streets, confirming at least one of the rumored retail shakeups in the area. The space most recently belonged to Mont Blanc, which has been "actively pursuing" the Baccarat corner store at Madison Avenue and East 59th Street, according to the NY Post. Meanwhile, Baccarat is in talks to lease the recently closed Searle store on Madison Avenue at East 60th Street. Searle is now in bankruptcy.

Fendi is said to be leaving their current store on Fifth Avenue between East 53rd and 54th Streets. "Everybody on Fifth wants to be on Madison," said Faith Hope Consolo of Prudential Douglas Elliman. The Italian brand also plans to open a home store, Fendi Casa, in the design district on Madison Avenue near 32nd Street.
