With all of last week's buzzing about the H&M-owned COS landing in America—specifically, a haunted building in Soho—it was easy to forget that the Swedish behemoth has three major stores in the works. Before opening at Fifth Avenue and 48th Street or that accidental Herald Square flagship, WWD has confirmed that H&M's Times Square emporium will open this November—just in time for the crush of holiday tourists.

And how the store will sparkle in time for the season: located at the base of 4 Times Square, corporate headquarters to Vogue and other Conde Nast publications, the tower will flaunt four skyline-changing illuminated panels at the top of the 48-story building. At 70-square-feet apiece, they'll shine like a quartet of light-up angels crowning a Christmas tree, or the very tallest menorah candle in all of New York. Inside, the store promises a "full on party atmosphere."
