Patrik Ervell's sample sale is full of cozy sweaters and tailored outerwear worthy of fall weather excitement. At the friends and family preview this morning there was primarily deeply-discounted menswear, with a small selection of womenswear to browse.

Men's outerwear ran the seasonal gamut from spring anoraks and windbreakers to bonded wool coats with shearling collars. Quilted jackets are priced at $220, suede jackets go for $400, and a selection of classic peacoats are $350.

Two large racks were packed with men's shirts, with options, again, for all seasons. Polo shirts were priced at $80, while short-sleeve white button downs went for $100. Other shirts included formal button downs for $140 to $200 and quilted wool shirt jackets for $240. A great selection of pants were also available for men, including jeans and formal pants.

Women will find a table of alpaca sweaters priced $80 to $140 and two racks of clothing to browse. There are dresses from the spring 2013 collection, a few jacquard jackets, pleated pants in menswear fabrics, and a variety of shirt dresses.

As far as footwear goes, there are a number of boxes for both men and women at just $80 at pop. The sale runs through Sunday, but no word yet on further markdowns.—Christina DeSmet
