Jewelry and handbag designer Kara Ross has just signed a lease for a small 600-square-foot Upper East Side store, scheduled to open in November at 655 Madison Avenue. This'll be her first standalone store in the city, though her collections are currently available at Berdorf, Bloomingdales, Henri Bendel, Greenwich Jewelers, Intemix, Kleinfeld Bridal, and about a dozen others. Once open, she'll be in good company—she shares an address with Brian Atwood, DKNY, and the Brazilian shoe brand Schutz.
