The traveling Jean Paul Gaultier retrospective is headed to the Brooklyn Museum on October 25th, showcasing 140 pieces of womenswear, couture sketches, and a few looks worn by Madonna. WWD writes that the mannequins themselves will be something of a focal point, particularly, the one modeled after JPG himself. (It'll come with a recording of his voice and the capability to "wink flirtatiously.")
The article adds that there will be other "startling" mannequins, including an S&M pair and some in "a variety of shapes and sizes"—all the mannequins pictured above, however, look like the standard size two.
