Highlights from this week include the opening of the new Alexander McQueen store on Madison Avenue, the Atelier Swarovski pop-up shop at Henri Bendel, ten days of beauty events at Saks, and the Pixie Market, Hudson Jeans, and Patrik Ervell sample sales. Monday:
Alexander McQueen's brand new Madison Avenue flagship opens today, which marks the end of an era as far as the (now-former) Meatpacking boutique is concerned. Tour the new space here.
Tuesday:
Beginning today, Henri Bendel will host a week-long pop-up shop for the Atelier Swarovski fall 2013 collection. Collaborators this season include Christopher Kane, Zaldy, Arik Levy, and Fredrikson Stallard.
Wednesday:
Gather your funds, because there are three sample sales starting today that should be worth stopping by: Hudson Jeans, Botkier, and Sferra. The first two are both being held at 260 Sample Sale, and the latter is at Chelsea Market. See all three dealfeeds in this month's calendar.
Thursday:
Brace yourself for ten days of fragrance festivities, kicking off today at Saks Fifth Avenue's newly revamped beauty floor. See the full list of events here, which includes special promos Le Labo, Carven, Cartier, Diptyque, and more!
Friday:
Pixie Market's $20, $40, $60 sample sale starts today, as well as Patrik Ervell's menswear sale at the brand's Soho atelier. Dealfeeds for both can be found here and here.
Saturday:
The Hester Street Fair's Stylist Tent returns today, and as usual, it'll include merchandise straight from the editorial closets/photo shoots pulls of various stylists, bloggers, and editors. Expect clothing and accessories at "bargain prices" from Acne, YSL, Prada, Proenza Schouler, as well as two mobile fashion trucks. Full details here.
