Blow is taking blowbarmania to a new frontier: mainstream department stores. The styling salon has just soft opened within Macy's Herald Square, in line with the flagship's beauty department overhaul. By the end of the year, Blow will be in a total of five department stores—the other four are Nordstrom locations—with an additional nine planned for 2014.
Services are a bit paired down for the department store locations, in options and price. Four express styles are offered for just $20 each (express styling is $40 at their freestanding salons). Fifty bucks will earn you a chignon, bun, ponytail, or twist, which go for $80 to $125 in the standalone locations.
