Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The weekend flea market outside of Park Slope's PS 321 will transfer powers to the folks behind the Brooklyn Flea beginning Columbus Day Weekend (that's Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th, in case you don't have Columbus Day committed to memory). Park Slope Stoop notes that the PS 321 flea will be much smaller than Brooklyn Flea's Fort Greene and Williamsburg operations, but we'll place our bets on a well-edited selection of handheld edibles and Slope-friendly jewelry vendors.
