Gant Rugger has signed a lease for not one but two Brooklyn locations, both set to open this November. The first is in Williamsburg, on the corner of N. 6th and Berry Streets and in the former home of The Future Perfect. The second, smaller store is headed for 357 Atlantic Avenue.

Inspired by the "brasserie-influenced concept" seen in Gant's new Paris store, the Williamsburg outpost will feature a fully-functioning kitchen that'll be used during special store events (ovens, stoves, and a chef's island all included).

CEO David Arbuthnot explains that Williamsburg's changing retail landscape made it difficult to lock down a spot: "The real estate in the neighborhood is in major transition and a lot of the landlords are changing, which makes it challenging to secure real estate." Gant's new store will be located close to the impending Urban Outffitters between Berry and Wythe. The Boerum Hill store, on the other hand, won't be far from J.Crew's controversial shop on Court Street.
