Today is VIP day at the Hermes sample sale and Madison Avenue Spy has some shoppers reporting from the inside. The word so far isn't good—one source goes as far as to call it "a complete disappointment." The source confirms that there is "a scattering of undesirable gloves, clothing, and shoes." How undesirable? Hot pink riding boots undesirable.
