The Strand is teaming up with the Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering's Cancer Center Thrift Shop this week for a vintage book sale, inside the Upper East Side thrift store. Starting Thursday and running through Sunday, the pop-up will carry a collection of vintage books (from first editions to signed copies), for your reading or coffee table-decorating pleasure.
A signed copy of Kurt Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions will be on the shelves ($300), along with an inscribed copy of Richard Avedon's In the American West ($500) and more. Hours and more info below.
