Alex Drexler, son of J. Crew chief executive officer Mickey Drexler, has opened a storefront for his new menswear line, Alex Mill. Located at 268 Elizabeth Street, the shop is right around the corner from Rag & Bone's Houston outpost (and infamous art/graffiti wall).
The line is designed for fathers and sons, The Cut explains. Expect to find Japanese-cotton button-downs for $145 and selvedge denim starting at $195, with pint-sized versions for the age two through ten set. When asked if fathers shop for their sons, Alex recalls growing up with Mickey: "My dad would come home with new clothes for me when I was growing up; I remember this really great pair of pink socks he brought back from Japan. What kid wouldn't like that?"
