New Jersey-based Harmon Face Values has opened its first stand alone shop on Sixth Avenue in Chelsea. The stretch of retail is fitting for the price-conscious beauty galleria, as it sits along with other thrillingly mundane businesses: Container Store, Fairway, and Trader Joe's among them. Plus, they're right by parent company Bed Bath & Beyond.

At just over 10,500 square feet, the new store stocks a selection of brand name cosmetics, heath, and beauty items including an extensive assortment of trial and travel size products. The store also offers a "grab and go" selection of healthy food options from Just Sprouted including sandwiches, soups, and salads. A host of events are planned for the next month, including mini manicures from Color Club on September 5th and a ConAir "curl secret" demo the next day.
