After 25 years in business, Badgley Mischka opened their first New York store today. "We looked for years to find the right location," said James Mischka. "We would see these storefronts on Madison that are just like a box and not interesting to us." The design duo settled on a three story townhouse at 24 East 64th Street. "This is interesting because it has a lot of nooks and crannies. You can make each room feel special."

The space is owned by the Pucci family and was once a Pucci boutique, complete with '7-s mirrored walls. Post-renovation, the space has a residential feel with reclaimed barn wood floors and a garden "that's not pretty yet but it has potential." Within the store's 3,500 square feet, shoppers will find all of the brand's collections: ready-to-wear, couture, bridal, costume and fine jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, and handbags.
