BROOKLYN HEIGHTS—Brooklyn's very first barre studio is on its way: Xtend Barre is set to open this fall in Brooklyn Heights at 147 Remsen Street. Want more? Well + Good NYC reports that Pure Barre is also headed for the borough, specifically in Cobble Hill.

UES & UWS—To celebrate National Yoga Month, Pure Yoga is offering free classes to members and non-members alike from September 9th through the 13th. (Sign up here before slots fill up.)
