Construction is well underway on the new Alexander McQueen store headed for 747 Madison Avenue, formerly home to both Valentino and Escada. The facade is covered with images from the fall 2013 campaign, and though there's not much else happening right now, the plan is to open by the end of the year. When that happens, it'll truly mark the end of an era for the Meatpacking District.—Christina Dun
