Kate Spade will open the bow-shaped doors of its Upper West Side store September 13th. The shop joins the recently opened Madison Avenue townhouse flagship, a Fifth Avenue store, and the Soho shop. What will make the new Columbus Avenue location stand out? It's the first clothing-centric store for the brand.
"The new 900-square-foot shop will be the only 'clothing-dominated [location],'" a company rep said. "This store aims to give the Upper West Side customer a local neighborhood feel to the Kate Spade New York experience. It is a small shop that easily blends in with the neighborhood." Fashionable neighbors include Theory, Reiss, and Comptoir de Cotonniers, while Maje is on the way.
