After nearly six years in Boerum Hill, gift-y shop Annie's Blue Ribbon General Store has relocated to Park Slope. The new space has more square footage which means, naturally, an expanded selection of goods including greeting cards, cooking supplies, and "grab bins for late minute treasures." And because the Slope is notoriously family-friendly, the new shop has some additions sure to please kiddos including a candy table and a play area.
Keeping with the kid theme, the store's first event will be a back to school celebration with State Bags. The brand's GiveBackPack program donates a backpack to a child in need with each purchase. The company's founders will be at the store August 29th from 3pm to 5pm along with "giveaways and merriment."
