Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We stopped by a preview of this weekend's Pamela Love sample sale, and if you're are going tomorrow, we recommend arriving a little earlier than you planned. The reason? They are only going to be allowing 15 to 20 people in the space at a time, so the first in get first dibs.

The staff will give you a little jewelry tray to hold all your finds, which makes shopping super easy and allows you to pick first and decide later. There are separated tables in the middle of the suite filled with the jewelry and there's a little of everything—we saw rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces in bronze, silver and rose gold.

Everything is priced as marked, but here's a sample of what you'll see. If you have $20, you'll want to look for the skull necklaces or the pair of twisted metal earrings. With $75, you can score statement cuffs with gem details, and for $100 a cuff with black stones.

$100 will also get you the three finger rings or the cone necklaces with gem details. $150 gives you access to the leaf like cuffs and the quartz rings wrapped in silver. If you can afford more, the metal triangular necklaces and the ring with the phases of the moon engraved on them are $200.

The sale is one-day only, and runs from 11am to 7pm tomorrow. Note that there's a $100 minimum for credit card purchases.—Mickey Sery
