Crain's is now echoing Bowery Boogie's earlier report of Phillip Lim opening at 48 Great Jones Street. While neither source can report that they've confirmed the details with Lim's camp—who also haven't returned our inquiry—it certainly sounds like this rumor is solidifying into fact.
According to Crain's, the store will be 3,500 square feet, replacing a furniture store that vacated six months ago. Apparently, a number of retailers fought over the space before Phillip Lim won out. The store will serve as a second location to the brand's Mercer Street store.
